Uganda Limited is a fast-growing private owned company and a subsidiary of TABS
Frontier Uganda Limited. The company offers a wide range of products and
services in the construction industry including Terrazzo Flooring; Supply and
Installation of Smart Pavers; Land Scaping and Compound Design among others.
Job Summary:  The Sales Representative will mainly be
responsible for promoting and selling company goods, products and services,
identifying new markets and customer leads.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:  
Promote and sell
company goods, products, and services:
·       
Identify
appropriate prospects (potential new clients and buyers), set appointments and
make effective qualifying sales calls and site visits;
·       
Explain
the benefits of the company products, goods, or services to new customers in
order to promote and build brand loyalty;
·       
Respond
to and follow up customer online inquiries related to products, services,
purchases, pricing and availability;
·       
Maintain
working relationships with existing clients to ensure exceptional service and
identification of potential new sales opportunities;
·       
Maintain
a client database and reach out to customer leads through cold calling;
·       
Achieve or
exceed agreed upon weekly and monthly sales targets and outcomes within
schedule;
·       
Manage
client relationships through all phases of the sales cycle to close new
business in all service categories offered;
·       
Expedite
the resolution of customer concerns and complaints through investigation and
developing solutions to maximize satisfaction.
Establish, develop
and maintain strong relationships with customers to maintain a high level of
service and loyalty.
Provide customers
with an expected budget/quotation, payment agreements, and delivery estimates:
·       
Negotiate
prices and terms, draft contracts, quotations and oversee all purchase/ Sales
agreements;
·       
Manage
pricing and sales data, as well as activity reports;
·       
Conduct
post-sale follow ups in order to assess and assist customers with any concerns
or inquiry they may have.
Prepare weekly and
monthly sales reports, call reports, workplans and any other reports required
by management.
Keep up to date on
current market changes and trends:
·       
Keep
abreast of best practices and promotional/sales trends by attending
conferences, seminars and reviewing professional publications;
·       
Monitor
market fluctuations, tendencies, pricing and trends as well as regular
competitor monitoring;
·       
Recommend
changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive
developments.
Carry out any other
duties as may from time to time be assigned.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
·       
The
applicant must hold a Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma qualification in Marketing
or Business studies with a concentration in marketing, promotions, advertising
and sales from a recognised University/Institution.
·       
Proven
experience in sales will be an added advantage.
·       
Excellent
customer service, interpersonal and communication skills.
·       
Problem-solving,
presentation and organizational skills.
·       
Ability
to mobilize customers in both rural and urban settings.
·       
Quick
learner with excellent selling, persuasion and negotiation skills.
·       
Fluency
in English, Luganda and any other local language.
·       
Proficient
computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and
Excel).
·       
Highly
motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales.
