M&E Officer Baylor-Uganda

The holder of the position will perform day-to-day monitoring and evaluation-related tasks for the SUDV survivors program implementation. S/he will collaboratively work with hospital data management teams and MOH.

Overall Responsibilities
• Support data management for IPC preparedness and response-related M&E strategies and activities, including data management, monitoring indicators and disaggregation components, recording and reporting data in narrative reports and established electronic information systems.
• Provide timely analysis of IPC data, with clear synthesis of gaps and recommendation of gaps.
Provide technical assistance and support to districts and sub-national partners in all relevant aspects of SUDV IPC preparedness and response monitoring and evaluation, continual quality improvement, and data analysis, visualization and use.
• Collaborate closely with other team members to facilitate joint implementation, sharing of information, and problem-solving in focus districts.
• Ensure high-quality, timely reporting of IPC preparedness and response data to the MoH, and Baylor-Uganda
• Participate in preparedness and response planning and review processes.
Assist in preparing and submitting progress reports and other relevant materials (e.g. data briefs)
• Any other duties as may reasonably be assigned from time to time.
Required Qualification, Experience and Competencies:
• • Bachelor in statistics, monitoring and evaluation or related field. Advanced certificate(s) in M&E/ statistics will be an added advantage
At least 3 years of professional experience in M&E, with responsibility for developing and implementing M&E activities for public health programs/ initiatives.
