Relevant Education
1. A Bachelor’s degree in culinary arts, a relevant degree majoring in pastry-making, baking or a degree in a relevant field. Or
2. A diploma in a related field with 4 years of experience in the role of Pastry Chef in a 4 star hotel.
Essential Experience and Knowledge
1. Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the hospitality industry, with an emphasis on Pastry arts- preferably as a Pastry Chef
2. Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a leadership role preferably as a pastry chef
3. In-depth knowledge of the food industry.
4. Proven experience in pastry arts in a 4 star hotel
5. Marriott experience is an added advantage
6. Strong working knowledge of related computer software, including restaurant management software.
