The Finance Programme Officer is responsible for monitoring the finances and the transactions of the ROEA projects analyze financial reports, update account statements, and oversee the budget, risk management and financial and grant reporting.
Reports to: Programme Finance Coordinator

Regional Director, Program Director, All Staff, Regulators Partner organizations, and vendors
Location
Kampala Uganda with travel in Kenya and Tanzania
Key Outputs:
• Finance and other policies adhered complied to.
• Projects-related expense data is effectively captured and reported in the system
• Risks are identified and mitigated.
• Expenditure procedures, especially around procurement maintained.
Key Tasks:
• Ensure that the organization’s financial policies, procedures, and standards are developed and complied with.
• Review all Project Accounts
• Post Financial Data for ROEA projects.
• Support leadership to identify and effectively mitigate risks
• Preparation of ROEA project fund requests
• Support in the conducting partner monitoring visit according to the MEAL policy
• Review project accountabilities
• Track ROEA Projects budgets
• Follow-up accountabilities for ROEA projects
• Follow-up accountabilities for the TAP programs
• Update the server with all projects data
Job Specification:
Academic Qualifications
• Bachelor of Business Administration/ Commerce / Accounting and Finance
Experience
• Minimum of 2 years experience in an NGO environment,
