Executive Assistant to Chief Executive Officer Nurture Africa

The Executive Assistant to the CEO will attend to a broad variety of administrative tasks for the CEO. The Executive Assistant shall hold the vision, values and beliefs of the Nurture Africa. The ideal candidate for this position will excel if they can keep their calm in a high-pressure environment coordinating the logistics of the CEO. The candidate should have some relevant experience to the role that highlights their capability to conduct all administrative work, making sure the CEO’s operations run smoothly. Thus, the candidate should be detail oriented and a creative problem solver.

He / She shall work with the management and team of other heads of departments to ensure programme targets are achieved.
The goal of this position is to ensure the office of the CEO is running efficiently, with meetings scheduled and documented, information requirements from the organisation received and filed on time and the CEO requirements promptly attended to. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to: –
Control workflow
• Handle all logistics CEO related Interact with leadership, internally and externally.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Review Policies and SOPs with different Policy holders according to the approved template/format.
• Work closely with Project heads to ensure targets are achieved as per the result framework.
• Act as the point of contact between the executives and internal or external colleagues.
• Complete a broad variety of administrative tasks for the CEO including managing an active calendar of meetings.
• Handle correspondence directed to managers.

Make travel arrangements.

The candidate should be proactive, organised, willing to work flexibly, weekends and evenings if required, by skilled in IT, documentation, minute taking, be an excellent communicator and be results orientated.

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in management/ administration
• Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Communication skills, written/verbal.
• Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines Keep information confidential.
• The candidate should have at least 5 years’ work experience.
