The Embassy of Ireland in Kampala is seeking to recruit a full-time Social Protection and Gender Advisor. The Embassy’s role is to deepen bilateral political relations between Ireland and Uganda and Rwanda; serve the needs of Irish citizens; strengthen trade, tourism and investment between our countries and support the socio-economic development through a targeted development cooperation and trade programme.
The role of the Advisor is to lead on the Embassy of Ireland’s engagement in social protection and gender in Uganda, providing high quality technical support, policy advice, and grant management. The Advisor will work with the Programme Team and Management to implement the Embassy’s Mission Strategy in the areas of social protection and gender.
