The acquisitions resulted in Old Mutual Kenya UAP Holdings and Faulu Microfinance Bank, forming one of the largest financial services groups with a growing footprint in East and Central Africa. UAP and Old Mutual have been major players in the financial services market in East Africa for decades. The two entities have vast experience in Insurance, Investment, Asset Management and Banking, and are passionate about helping our customers achieve their financial goals.

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • To manage the sales of the Jinja branch and increase the branch’s customer base and revenues Throughout the Eastern Region.
  • Ensure Organic Growth of New Business in the Region and retention of the already existing Business.
  • Deliver a quality marketing strategy for the branch that is able to drive UAP business goals and is in line with the business plan.
  • Supervise all the work Force at the Branch and direct them in achieving company goals and Objectives.
  • Develop score cards and KPIs for the work force at the Branch and quarterly review their performance.
  • Enhance Company Brand Visibility by ensuring that Key Strategic Areas in the Region are branded with Company Logos.
  • Manage all Agency offices in the area by ensuring effective and efficient operation.
  • Submission of Monthly reports in Time to Head office.
  • Underwrite all insurance policies according to our customer service charter, process claims within the accepted timelines
  • To review and update annual performance contracts for the financial advisors.
  • To drive active recruitment and training of financial advisors

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • The applicant must hold an Honours Degree (Hons): Business Administration (Required)
  • Business, Customer Service, Managing Sales Teams, Marketing Strategies, New Businesses, People Management, Sales, Strategic Objectives, Supervision
