Head of Daily Operations Uvotam

Uvotam, an innovative SME indie production company, is seeking a highly motivated and skilled
Head of Daily Operations to oversee and optimize the daily functioning of our business. As the Head of Daily Operations, you will be responsible for managing various aspects of the company’s operations, including budgeting, resource allocation, and hiring key personnel. This pivotal role requires exceptional leadership, strategic thinking, and operational expertise to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Operations Management:
– Develop and implement efficient operational strategies to maximize productivity and streamline processes across all departments.
– Oversee and optimize day-to-day activities, ensuring they align with the company’s goals and objectives.
– Monitor and assess operational performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective measures when necessary.

2. Budgeting and Financial Management:
– Collaborate with the finance team to develop and manage budgets for different projects and departments.
– Monitor expenses and revenue streams, providing regular reports to the executive team for financial decision-making.
– Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement measures to achieve financial targets.

3. Human Resources Management:
– Lead the recruitment and selection process for hiring key personnel, ensuring the right talent is onboarded to support the company’s growth.
– Oversee employee performance evaluations, professional development plans, and talent retention initiatives.
– Implement HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with relevant employment laws and regulations.

4. Resource Allocation:
– Determine the allocation of resources, including personnel, equipment, and facilities, to optimize productivity and output.
– Collaborate with department heads to ensure resources are effectively distributed to support ongoing and upcoming projects.

5. Project Management:
– Work closely with project managers to ensure projects are executed efficiently, on time, and within budget.
– Identify potential bottlenecks and risks, providing proactive solutions to keep projects on track.

6. Cross-functional Collaboration:
– Foster a collaborative environment among different teams and departments, promoting effective communication and knowledge sharing.
– Work closely with the executive team to align daily operations with the company’s long-term strategy and vision.

7. Continuous Improvement:
– Identify areas for process improvement and lead initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
– Encourage a culture of continuous learning and development within the organization.

Requirements:

– Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
– Proven experience as an operations manager or similar leadership role, preferably within the media or entertainment industry.
– Strong financial acumen, with experience in budgeting and financial management.
– Excellent organizational and analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail.
– Outstanding interpersonal and communication abilities, able to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
– Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams to achieve exceptional results. – Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools.
– Familiarity with the indie production landscape and related challenges is a plus.
