Procurement Assistant Finnish Refugee Council

Purpose of the Role:
To coordinate timely travel arrangements of staffs and project goods/materials, project procurement activities, assist in vehicle/transport operations, stores & Asset management and managing all paperwork/records.

KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Procurement
• Implement the procurement process as per procurement plan form soliciting quotations and analysing them to presenting them to procurement committee.
• Ensure procurement activities are transparent and commands value for money to the project.
• Develop and update all FRC project procurement trackers and activity records.
• Ensure FRC-supplier relationship is maintained.

Stores Inventory
• Maintain and update records of all documents related to project assets in stores.
• Keep safe custody of all project materials.

Fleet management
• Plan, schedule and arrange project related vehicle movements.
• Assist in sourcing for service providers for fleet repair and maintenance.
• Assist in collecting, recording, analysing and reporting on fuel and use of vehicles.

Qualification:
• Bachelors in Procurement and Logistics Management, or in a relevant field.
• At least 2 years’ experience in procurement and logistics management in a growing organization
