Job Title: Sales Executive
Division: Sales & Operations
Location: Dar Es Salam and Kampala

1.0 Job Purpose:
We are looking for a motivated and results-driven Sales Executive to join our re-commerce start-up in Kenya. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing partner stores, driving sales and revenue, and enhancing marketing visibility within stores. 2.0 Reporting Relationships:
● Reports directly to:
● Business Manager – Country

2.3 Direct reports:
● Daily Sales Reportings
● Returns and Warranty Reporting
● Stock Reporting
● Marketing Campaign Reporting

3.0 Key Relationships:
3.1 Key Internal Relationships:
• Business Manager
• Finance team
• Marketing Team

3.2 Key External Relationships:
● Regional Store Managers for Partner and Open Market

Key Responsibilities:
Partner Store Management:
● Develop and nurture relationships with partner stores to ensure a strong and collaborative partnership.
● Coordinate with partner stores to optimize the placement and visibility of refurbished smartphones.
Provide ongoing support and training to store staff on product knowledge and sales techniques.

Sales and Revenue Numbers:
● Achieve and exceed sales targets set by the company.
● Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within the assigned territory.
Implement effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth.

Marketing Visibility within Stores:
● Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure effective product visibility within partner stores.
● Implement in-store marketing initiatives to enhance brand awareness.
Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of marketing efforts within stores.

● Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
● Proven experience in sales, preferably in the technology or re-commerce industry.
● Strong understanding of the East African market and retail landscape.
● Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
● Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with partners.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
Partner Store Management:
● Maintain a positive relationship with partner stores, measured through regular feedback and satisfaction surveys.
● Achieve optimal product placement and visibility in partner stores.

Sales and Revenue Numbers:
● Meet and exceed monthly sales targets.
● Increase revenue from existing and new customers.

Marketing Visibility within Stores:
● Implement successful in-store marketing initiatives.
● Measure the impact of marketing efforts on sales and brand visibility.
