About ERA:
The Electricity Regulatory Authority (ERA) is a statutory body established in accordance with the Electricity Act, 1999 (Chapter 145, Laws of Uganda). The Act empowers ERA to regulate the Generation, Transmission, Sale, Export, Import and Distribution of electrical energy in Uganda.
Job Summary: The Administration Officer will provide administrative support to the Administration unit to ensure that ERAs operations are effectively supported.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Keep track of vehicle servicing and take daily mileage recordings,
- Ensure optimal utilization of vehicles by keeping maintenance and other operational costs low,
- Allocate and monitor the work of Transport Facilitators,
- Maintain an accurate record of all motor vehicle log books, driving licensees of Transport Facilitators and ensure timely renewal of licensees and insurance,
- Prepare monthly progressive reports,
- Develop and implement guidelines for outsourced service providers.
- Be in charge of the ERA’s stores function,
- Perform any other duties as may be reasonably assigned by the supervisor or Management.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicant must hold an Honours degree in Logistics, Office Management, Development Studies or other relevant qualification.
- A minimum of three years of relevant working experience in a reputable organization.
- Age: Above 35 years
