Position: Director of Rule of Law and Litigation Implementation

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the implementation of Rule of Law and Litigation requirements as per the organization’s mandate.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to the management team.
• Promote a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Support efforts to enhance member satisfaction and strengthen relationships with key stakeholders.
• Engage with members, partners, stakeholders, and ULS Council as needed.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends. Work with the technology team to assess and implement digital transformation initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s level degree or higher in Law, economics, business management/administration, development economics, project management, or related field.
• Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice, Administration, and Management is an added advantage.
• At least 6 years’ working experience in top management, business development, or similar roles in a large reputable organization or Law Firm with complex environments.

• Impeccable integrity and professionalism.
• Strong understanding of legal regulations, compliance, and risk management.
• Excellent financial and analytical skills.
• Strong organizational and management skills.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrable ability to Fundraise for Legal Aid and Strategic Projects.
• Experience in Legal aid projects and Pro-bono initiatives and change management is a plus.
