Position Overview: Reporting to the Executive Director, the Finance & Project Oversight Leader manages financial operations in the US and Uganda. Responsibilities include overseeing project execution and financial management in collaboration with Local Community Units (LCUs).
Responsibilities:
- Financial & Administrative Management:
- Handle bookkeeping, financial reporting, and payroll
- Coordinate office services and supplies
- Support program budgeting and fundraising
- Major Project (LCU) Oversight:
- Develop and manage project budgets
- Review project reports and budgets
- Facilitate wire transfers to LCUs
- Hearts & Hope Ugandan Office Financial Oversight:
- Streamline accounting processes
- Review annual office budgets
- Monitor financial reports and audits
Qualifications:
- Degree in Accounting/Finance
- QuickBooks proficiency
- Experience in budget management
- Strong communication skills
Additional Information:
- Full-time salaried position with flexible work arrangements
- Requires occasional evening meetings and 1 annual trip to Uganda
