Organization: Habitation for Empowerment Network

Organization Description: Habitation for Empowerment Network is a consortium of indigenous, non-profit, and Non-Government Organizations working towards the social and economic development of adolescents and vulnerable persons in less fortunate and under-served communities. We focus on rejuvenating lives through empowerment programs emphasizing Education, Health, Mentorship, Mindset Change, Leadership, and Entrepreneurship skills development.

Position Description: We are seeking volunteers to support our current programs, organize workshops for new programs, and handle beneficiaries’ complaints remotely. Ideal candidates will be organized, detail-oriented, effective negotiators, and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Identify and register stakeholders for future partnerships and networking
  • Create and maintain partnerships with stakeholders
  • Hold meetings and conduct project discussions with stakeholders
  • Mobilize participants for organization programs
  • Organize events, meetings, trainings, and workshops
  • Manage day-to-day operations and prepare project reports
  • Assist in strategic growth, business development, and research
  • Develop content for organization social media platforms
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Program Manager

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University
  • Diploma from a recognized Institution
  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with administrative tasks
  • Proficiency in computer software packages
  • Experience working in teams (preferred)
  • Work experience in administrative support of development programs/projects (preferred)
