WWF Uganda is seeking a dynamic individual to fill the position of Chief Finance Officer (CFO). As part of the International Gorilla Conservation Programme (IGCP), the CFO will play a crucial role in leading financial management and administration across Uganda, DRC, and Rwanda. Responsibilities include strategic planning, compliance, reporting, financial systems management, cash flow analysis, and supervision of finance and administration staff.
Qualifications:
- University degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, Business Administration, or related field
- MBA or equivalent post-graduate qualification in Finance/Accounting
- Full accounting qualification (CIMA, ACCA, CIS, or equivalent)
- 10 years of experience, including 5 years in a senior finance/accounting position
- Experience in project-level accounting and management
- Knowledge of accounting software (e.g., Sun Systems, Oracle, ACCPAC) is an advantage
- Strong leadership abilities
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (English proficiency required, French or Swahili is an advantage)
- Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment
- Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask
