About INTERACT AFRICA: INTERACT-Africa is an Intra-Africa Academic mobility project funded by the European Union (EU). The project focuses on Chemistry, Biology, and Information Technology, with an emphasis on the conversion of organic waste to valuable bioproducts for transitioning into environmentally sustainable and socially inclusive economies.
Responsibilities:
- Scholarship Program Management: Oversee all aspects of the scholarship program, including but not limited to application review, selection process coordination, and disbursement of funds.
- Candidate Engagement: Assist prospective candidates with the application process, provide guidance on eligibility criteria, and address inquiries related to the scholarship program.
- Collaboration: Liaise with partner universities and institutions to ensure smooth implementation of the scholarship program and adherence to project objectives.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of scholarship recipients, prepare reports on program activities and outcomes, and contribute to project documentation as required.
- Stakeholder Communication: Communicate regularly with scholarship recipients, project partners, and relevant stakeholders to provide updates on program developments and address any issues or concerns.
- Monitoring and Evaluation: Monitor the progress of scholarship beneficiaries, conduct periodic evaluations of program effectiveness, and identify areas for improvement.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Education, International Development, Business Administration).
- Prior experience in scholarship management, educational administration, or related fields preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment and promote diversity and inclusion.
- Proficiency in English (French proficiency desirable but not mandatory).
- Familiarity with EU-funded projects and scholarship programs preferred.
- Commitment to promoting sustainable development and environmental conservation.
