About US:
Uganda Petroleum Institute Kigumba (UPIK) was established by the Statutory instrument No. 31 of 2011: The Universities and Other Tertiary Institutions Acts, 2006 (Establishment of Uganda Petroleum Institute, Kigumba) in July, 2011. The
mandate of UPIK is to provide a world-class education in geosciences and petroleum engineering in order to support and advance the petroleum and energy sectors in Uganda, East Africa and beyond.
Job Summary: The Medical Officer will provide and maintain curative and preventive health care services in accordance with national Health Service standards.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Diagnosing, treating and managing patients:
- Promoting public health practices in the community:
- Participating in research activities and health data collection; and
- Participating in continued professional development.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Must have an MB.Ch.B or its equivalent from a recognized Institution.
- Three years of relevant experience
- Must be registered and licensed with Uganda Medical and Dental Practitioners Council
- Age Limit: Below 50 years
