Key Responsibilities:

  1. Fleet Management:
    • Purchase and maintain vehicles for deliveries.
    • Decide whether to lease or buy vehicles based on business needs.
    • Assist in recruiting quality drivers and manage their schedules for maximum efficiency.
  2. Driver and Vehicle Oversight:
    • Manage driver adherence to schedules and ensure a high level of customer service.
    • Register, license, and maintain detailed records of all fleet vehicles.
    • Schedule regular vehicle maintenance to ensure operational efficiency and minimize downtime.
  3. Cost and Efficiency Management:
    • Develop strategies to cut costs and increase fuel efficiency.
    • Analyze operational data to improve business efficiency.
    • Monitor driver behavior using GPS systems to track vehicles and reduce theft risk.
  4. Administrative Support:
    • Assist with onboarding new hires, including desk setups for drivers and fleet staff.
    • Ensure detailed servicing and inspection records are maintained for all vehicles.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Diploma in Logistics or Accounting.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 2+ years in a logistics or fleet management role.
    • Experience in the transportation industry is highly preferred.
