Victoria Equipment Limited (VEQ) is the construction equipment arm of the General Machinery group of Companies founded in 1981. Victoria Equipment Limited is the authorized Distributor and franchise holder of the following equipment in Uganda.

  • Komatsu – Earth moving equipment
  • Sandvik – Rock drilling, mining and quarry
  • Dynapac – Compacting equipment
  • Tadano – Cranes
  • Tempest – Generators

 

Job Summary:   We are seeking to recruit a self-driven professional in Victoria Equipment Limited as an AfterSales Officer with an Engineering (Auto/Mechanical) background, who is responsible, results oriented, has the agility and flexibility, to drive sales, can work under pressure to deliver results.

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure an effective customer relationship management system for all customers the company has for all brands
  • Promote and sell all company products in the market.
  • Ensure customer visits are done across the country effectively.
  • Conduct and perform machine walk-around, ensure preventive maintenance inspections and technical evaluations and provide recommendations to clients.
  • Prepare and submit the customer visit reports, call reports, machine condition and sales forecasts.
  • Maintain accurate customer records and machine population data.
  • Monitor competitor activities and provide feedback on market trends and customer needs
  • Coordinate with the parts, service, sales and OEM representatives to ensure smooth execution of service and parts delivery to customers.
  • Follow-up customers’ feedback and channel it to relevant departments in a timely manner.
  • Provide reports to Sales Manager on all activities.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • A minimum of a Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Auto engineering, Commerce, Marketing, Economics & Development Economics, Business studies, International Business, Sales & Marketing.
  • Should have a minimum of 2 years related experience in a similar Position.
