Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- To sell GM Flow products and services to an assigned portfolio of clients, in order to meet client needs, achieve annual sales targets and deliver exceptional client experience in line with the GM Flow Sales strategy and defined risk parameters and regulatory requirements.
- Account Management – Prepare and / or revise reports, proposals, pitches, client presentations, circulars and other information required for client engagement. Deliver relevant information in a confident and creative way, while ensuring swift and accurate information availability.
- Assist in monitoring financial performance and preparation of timely month end financial reports to support effective maintenance of financial control within the team.
- Client Engagement – Work with more experienced team members to identify the needs of the assigned high and medium touch clients and actively pursue sales opportunities, including cross selling and upselling, and partnering clients in selecting the best suited product and / or service given their needs, to ensure conversion and exceptional client experience.
- Client onboarding – Onboard clients in collaboration with Client Experience and Operations to ensure a positive client experience.
- Digital Innovation – Gain an understanding of digital initiatives, GM digital strategy and regulatory standards to provide support on the digitalisation rollout. Support the digital value proposition and promote use of self-service tools.
- Market Trends – Research changes in market conditions, sector trends, regulations, product developments, and client insights.
- Capture, collate, analyse and / or summarise relevant, quality and accurate documents, data and information from various sources.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- A First Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field;
- A professional certification (e.g., CFA, ACI) is an added advantage.
- Proficiency in GM Flow products (e.g., FX, Fixed Income, Money Markets) across at least two asset classes.
- Strong understanding of Global Markets client segments (corporates, institutions, SMEs) and regulatory and risk frameworks across jurisdictions.
- 5+ years in client-facing roles within financial markets, treasury sales, or institutional banking, with at least 2 years in a leadership or sales management capacity.
- Demonstrated track record in originating, structuring, and closing flow product deals with measurable revenue impact.
- Experience in leveraging digital platforms, data tools, and market insights to drive sales strategies and improve client engagement.
