Key Responsibilities:
- Cost Estimation: Prepare accurate cost estimates for materials, labor, equipment, and other expenses.
- Budget Monitoring: Monitor expenses against budget and provide updates to project managers.
- Contract Negotiations: Prepare bills of quantities, analyze bids, and support negotiations with suppliers and subcontractors.
- Valuation for Payment: Prepare interim payment certificates and process payments to contractors/suppliers.
- Quantity Measurement: Accurately measure and quantify materials and works completed on-site.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare financial reports, forecasts, cost-to-complete projections, and expenditure analysis.
- Risk Assessment: Identify and assess financial and contractual risks, proposing mitigation strategies.
- Project Documentation: Maintain organized records of contracts, invoices, payment certificates, and other documents.
- Coordination: Work with project managers, engineers, contractors, and stakeholders for cost management.
- Provide financial reports and recommend cost-saving measures.

- Educational Background and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.
- Additional qualifications in project management or construction finance are a plus.
- At least 5 years of experience in quantity surveying for civil and MEP works.
- Strong knowledge of cost estimation, contract negotiation, and value engineering.
- Experience with large-scale construction projects, particularly water-related projects.
