Quality Assurance Manager Luigi Giussani Foundation (LGF)

The Quality Assurance Manager will be responsible for ensuring the effective implementation of the Leaders in Teaching (LIT) Program by maintaining high-quality standards and compliance with program objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Program Quality Assurance and Compliance

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive quality assurance framework
  • Ensure that all program activities align with national education policies
  • Conduct periodic internal quality assessments and audits to track compliance with program objectives

Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning

  • Work closely with the MEL team to ensure effective data collection, analysis, and reporting mechanisms
  • Provide guidance on assessment tools and methodologies for measuring improvements in teacher effectiveness, student learning outcomes, and school leadership practices
  • Oversee the integration of evidence-based practices to inform program adaptation and decision-making

Capacity Building and Continuous Improvement

  • Ensure training materials and guidelines meet high standard, and quality assurance processes
  • Identify areas for improvement and provide recommendations

Reporting and Documentation

  • Prepare high-quality reports on program performance and quality assurance findings
  • Ensure reports submitted to Mastercard Foundation, LGF leadership, and relevant government agencies are accurate, comprehensive, and of the highest quality.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Master’s degree in Education, Monitoring & Evaluation, Quality Assurance, Project Management, or a related field
  • At least (7) seven years of experience in education quality assurance, teacher training, or program monitoring and evaluation
  • Strong understanding of Uganda’s education system, particularly secondary education and STEM subjects
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing quality assurance frameworks in education programs
  • Experience working with donor-funded programs and engaging with government agencies
  • Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
