Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Building, implementing, and providing support for Personal & Private Banking (PPB) and Business & Commercial Banking (BCB) Customer facing applications, working with other Developers and product managers while carrying these duties.
- Proactive monitoring and actioning of alerts from monitoring tools & customers
- Troubleshooting and provision of solutions to both external and internal users of the system.
- Monitor daily system and file backups of different applications
- Stakeholder Management -Collaborate with business leaders across the organisation.
- Ensure the proper running of the Disaster recovery site(s).
- Timely & end-to-end technical solutions delivery
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- A First Degree in Information Technology or in a computer related field.
- Experience with databases (MySQL, Oracle, MSSQL, PostgresDB) and Object-Relational Mapping (ORM) frameworks
- Excellent communication skills, Resourcefulness, attention to details and troubleshooting aptitude
- Knowledge of coding languages (e.g., C#, Java, JavaScript, PHP, Python,)
- Good knowledge in managing relational databases Client servicing & Customer Understanding.
