Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Execute necessary bookkeeping as well as prepare accounting reports.
- Prepare and coordinate donor-specific audits/assessments.
- Review and maintain the integrity of the clients ’periodic financial reports.
- Perform and review periodic reconciliations between the general ledger and the underlying records on behalf of clients.
- Prepare and review financial statements and reports on behalf of clients.
- Ensure that the Firm’s quality control procedures are adhered to.
- Carry out and manage the treasury function on behalf of clients.
- Support the development and implementation of policies, systems, and procedures to ensure clients maintain strong and sound internal controls.
- Provide appropriate and actionable business advisory to clients.
- Establish a close working relationship with clients and other stakeholders.
- Contribute toward the achievement of the financial target of the Firm by registering an annual utilization of at least 70%.
- Contribute towards business development efforts of the Firm by identifying opportunities for serving existing or new clients
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or other related fields.
- Completed ACCA, CPA or equivalent professional qualification.
- 3-4 years of relevant experience in accounting, audit, or outsourcing services.
- Knowledge of QuickBooks and other accounting software applications.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analytical tools.
