Uganda Airlines is the flag carrier of Uganda. The company is a revival of the older Uganda Airlines which operated from 1977 until 2001. It began flying in August 2019.
Job Summary: The Cabin Crew will deliver excellent service, be committed to onboard safety and following all procedures.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare the cabin before take-off to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Monitor the cabin frequently for the entire duration of the flight.
- Prepare accurate reports concerning any significant safety and non-safety issues happening on flights.
- Understanding the duties of assigned position during flights.
- Adhere to established regulations and procedures.
- Ensure the safety and comfort of all passengers.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Minimum qualification. A diploma from a recognized Institution or an IATA Airline Cabin Crew Certificate
- University Degree is an added advantage.
- Minimum age 21 years and Maximum 32 years.
- Minimum height 160 cm (5.2 ft.)
- Minimum arms reach 212 cm (on tiptoes).
- Able to swim at least 25 meters unaided.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken).
- Out-going personality with good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Able to inspire guests through innovative hospitality.
- Excellent Health and fitness, with a healthy Body Mass Index (BMI).
- No tattoos or body piercings (Exception of one earring in the lower lobe of each ear for females only.)
- Willing to comply with Uganda Airlines medical and health screening requirements.
- No criminal record.
- Positive, confident, flexible and a friendly attitude.
- Adaptive to diverse teams, cultures and fast-changing environments.
- Comfortable with irregular hours and working on a roster.
