Job Title: Lead Instrument/ICSS Engineer

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- To implement the Instrumentation and ICSS management and maintenance approach to ensure targeted production availability
- To manage interaction with ERA for the class Z approval of Ugandan technician
- Provide all aspects of engineering/technical support and assistance to site-based teams
- Develop and maintain productive and constructive relationships with site-based personnel, office operations/technical teams and external contractors/vendors
- Contract Technical duet for nominated contracts and specific scopes of work
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Degree in Electronic, Instrumentation and Industrial Control engineering from an accredited university or equivalent.
Experience:
- Minimum 12 years’ experience in Instrumentation and Industrial control safety system maintenance in an oil & gas or petrochemical environment, two years of which must have been spent working on an operational plant.
- Experience in similar position working for operations in Oil & Gas sector in a supervisory position, especially in Instrumentation/ICSS engineering and operation
- Must have good working knowledge of codes and standards used in the industry (NEC, NEMA, ISO, IEC, ATEX, NORSOK, ASME, ASTM, API, ANSI etc…).
