Job Summary: The Storekeeper will ensure proper record keeping, manage all store documentation to confirm proper stock levels and maintain inventory control.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:  

  • Liaise with the supervisor to assist in ensuring efficient day-to-day running of the store.
  • Receive delivered good from suppliers in line with internal SOPs
  • Keep the stores stocks always well shelved and updated.
  • Carry out routine stock taking, and stock reconciliation
  • Responsible for categorizing goods/supplies neatly on to their respective racks in the store
  • Daily inspect and ensure cleanliness and hygiene of the store
  • Routinely inspect goods in the stores in search for any due to expire and immediately report any findings to the supervisor for appropriate action.
  • Any other duties as may be assigned.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • The applicant for the National Aviation Services (NAS) Storekeeper job must hold a Diploma in Stores management
  • A minimum of two years’ experience in the service industry
  • Knowledge of spare parts and lubricants
  • Computer literate with knowledge of basic programs
  • Numerical and analytical skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, bookkeeping and inventory management
