Senior Analytics Engineer
Whether you have held a role like data warehouse engineer, ETL developer, data analyst, or analytics consultant, we’re seeking people with senior-level experience. We are looking for those who can think critically about how data can be transformed to best support and inform our stakeholders, and enrich our culture across the business with new insights.
As a Senior Analytics Engineer, you will have full ownership of our enterprise data model and the core data pipelines that power our top line metrics, and critical analyses across the business.
The Senior Analytics Engineer role is perfect if you enjoy tidying and documenting data and then delighting in the company’s well-organized EDW. You favor writing SQL to transform raw data into data models to service your customers, and the Insights, Data, and BI teams, to empower them to generate actionable insights for stakeholders. You’ll work on projects that improve the quality and reliability of our existing data, and you’ll also enable entire new areas of the organization with new core data sources. Additionally, you will adopt software engineering best practices to produce high quality and sustainable data solutions.

As Senior Analytics Engineer you will:
Set up or run the infrastructure needed to orchestrate data pipelines and deliver data cost efficiently and timely
Worked with DBT and SQL
Used SQL to write complex queries that join data across multiple systems
Used distributed source control such as Git proficiently
Worked collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to achieve a goal ideally from a Revenue Operations perspective
Worked in a consulting or SaaS company
Provided technical mentorship
Worked in an agile environment
Worked in a remote environment
Things you might do at Lokalise, among others:
Build tables in SQL using DBT
Configure a data warehouse or data ingestion tool
Review a teammate or client’s code for ensure scalability purposes
Construct a report from tables you’ve built to address a stakeholder’s need
Train team members and other Lokalisers on data and the use thereof
Required profile for job ad : Senior Analytics Engineer EMEA It will interest us if you have:
6+ years’ experience in analytics/data engineering or data warehousing; or in a business intelligence field with a strong emphasis on data modeling and pipeline work.
Advanced SQL skills (window functions, creating UDFs, DML/DDL commands, etc.).
Proficiency in writing and maintaining data pipelines and data quality monitors in a workflow management tool for productionized solutions, with source control and code review.
Proficiency in computer science and software engineering fundamentals, including at least one scripting language (e.g., Python, PHP and JavaScript).
Experience across the entire data lifecycle: instrumentation, logging, data modeling, ETL, business intelligence, and visualization tools.
