Graphics designer and social media executive – GTBank Uganda





POSITION:    GRAPHICS DESIGNER AND SOCIAL MEDIA EXECUTIVE.

REPORTING TO: Team Leader, Corporate Affairs.

The Graphics Designer and social media Executive, is responsible for supporting the process of marketing GTBank, branding and all the related media fields.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Coordinates all administrative aspects of production, including preparing final designs for presentation, checking and approving color, copy, text format separations, and scaling images for print production. Ensures that all parties are informed of and meet deadlines.
  • Interpreting and anticipating the Bank’s creative business needs and developing a concept to suit their purpose.
  • Prepares layouts, designs, artwork and formats for use in publication;
  • Layout and scale photos, marking them for proper screen values for print reproduction;
  • Designs, lays out, and produces artwork such as posters, signs and report covers;
  • Coordinate relationship with vendors; preparing specifications and obtaining estimates for final approval;
  • Develop, implement and manage our social media strategy
  • Define most important social media KPIs
  • Manage and oversee social media content
  • Measure the success of every social media campaign
  • Stay up to date with latest social media best practices and technology
  • Use all the available social media marketing tools.
  • Keep abreast of the emerging technologies in new media, particularly design programs.
  • Ensuring that the materials bought are of the highest quality at lowest prices and they are properly distributed to branches as needs occur.
  • Effective e-marketing to both internal and external customers on all our products.
  • Performs related duties as required

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

 

Essential:

 

  • Relevant Degree in Marketing, graphics design, with relevant experience in Corporate Affairs.
  • Previous experience in a similar digital marketing role.
  • Relevant experience including CMS, SEO, PPC, e-marketing, social media and analytics
  • Knowledge of current online marketing trends and best practice

Preferred:  

  • Relevant professional qualification

  • Experience of digital marketing and hands on operational level
  • Excellent written English and proven design flair
  • Team player
  • Excellent communication
