Supervisor Records Management BRAC Uganda Bank Ltd

Job Title: Supervisor Records Management Reports to: Manager Back Office Operations

Main Job Responsibilities:
• Manages & oversees the bank’s records from their creation and preservation through to disposal.
• Establishing new records management system; developing, maintaining, verifying and evaluating existing systems.
Ensuring the financial, legal or administrative requirements and regulations are complied with ensuring that data is protected, classifying and indexing records, destroying or archiving finished data/records.
• Providing training to staff who require access of have responsibility for maintaining records in the bank.

Minimum Qualifications And Skills
• Bachelor’s Degree in Library and Information Science or related field.
• 3 years and above experience in records management in a financial institution.
• Incident management skills including the use of formal problem solving and decision making techniques.
Proven customer service skills in dealing with clients and customers both internal and external at all levels.
• Communication & influencing skills, especially when requiring colleagues to hand over records to use the system correctly.
