Rushere Cooperative Savings and Credit Society Limited is a registered SACCO in Rushere Town Council, Nyabushozi County, and Kiruhura District. It operates in the districts of Kiruhura, Kazo, Mbarara, Ibanda, Kamwenge, Kyegegwa Sembabule, and Lyantonde.
Rushere SACCO invites applications from suitably qualified candidates to fill the position below;

Aim of Job /scope of work: To support ICT and systems management through maintaining system uptime upto 90%. Working contacts: Internal
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Support in general maintenance of LAN and WAN
2. Hardware installation and maintenance, CCTV cameras, printers and POS c) Participate in maintaining the institution website, face book, twitter and other pages d) Trouble shooting and timely fixing of any systems challenges that may arise from time to time
3. Daily monitoring and maintenance of computer systems to ensure that they are running as desired optimal efficiency levels
4. Install and configure operating systems and other software
5. Ensure that MIS are running and working at all times
6. Assist in compilation and maintenance of an accurate inventory hardware and software
7. Pro-actively provide information to users on the programs of outstanding support calls.
8. Participate in testing released software
9. Provide user support
10. Install and update operating systems, antivirus and apply patches m) Support in training users on new technology
11. n) Participate in providing system backup and recovery procedure
12. o) Attend to and support clients in using innovations like Mobile banking p)
13. Any other duty as may be assigned by the supervisor
Knowledge and Experience:
1. Bachelor’s Degree in an IT related studies (Computer Science or Information Communication Technology)
2. One year experience in ICT environment.
3. At least 25 years of age
4. Knowledge of SQL, Oracle, Windows Server environments, windows operating systems, Linux operating system.
5. CCNA certification is added advantage
6. Proper understanding of Computer Hardware.
