Instrumentation / ICSS Commissioning Engineer Total Energies

Main Duties and Responsibilities
• Definition of sub-system boundary limits and commissioning packages within sub-systems. Definition of instrument pre-commissioning and commissioning scope within the sub-systems.
• Follow up and intervention in contractor’s preparation for pre-commissioning and commissioning scope for both onshore and offshore.
• Approval of contractor’s methods and strategies for commissioning. Approval of contractor’s system commissioning procedures and Operational Test Procedures.
• Ensure all pre-commissioning and commissioning execution activities are carried out safely and in accordance with the project HSE plan.
• Witness contractor’s performance of pre-commissioning to achieve mechanical completion on a sub-system basis.
• Expert knowledge of commissioning completion system (ICAPS). Other completion system experience is relevant.
• Approval of contractor’s commissioning planning and follow up of progress according to plan.
• Witness contractor’s performance of onshore commissioning to achieve AOCon system and sub-system basis. Approval of contractor’s pre-commissioning and commissioning dossiers.
• Follow up of contractor’s FAT activities at supplier premises.
• Assistance and contractor follow up during off-shore installation, hook-up and commissioning and production start-up.
• Ensure “Company’s Referentiel” is implemented throughout TILENGA Project for all instrument discipline related activities and liaise with metier as required.
• Participate in the training and coaching of Company’s production personnel and maintenance contractor personnel assigned to the Plant.
• Ensure personnel involved in PSS & FGS are properly certified for relevant competency & register maintained.
• Approve all electrical energization of any new system during commissioning.
• Conduct site audits for safe commissioning & operating of all instrument Rooms.
• Liaise with contractor & vendor for sitewide commissioning of ICSS equipment’s.
• Ensure RFC & AOC walkdowns followed with Contractor & company personnel and tracking all defects.
• Close liaison with EACOP & National Grid import stakeholders for executing & approving relevant systems.
• Ensure regular preservation is performed & recorded for all equipment’s.
• Ensure all software licenses, keys, passwords are secured & transferred to Field Operation during handover.

Candidate profile
Qualification & Experience:

• Appropriate technical qualification or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum 8-10 years’ experience in commissioning Instrument & ICSS systems within the Oil and Gas Industry.
• Expert knowledge and experience of instrument and control systems Commissioning & Start-up work on onshore/offshore installation: preparing commissioning strategy, developing network planning, coordinating integrated plan, contractor follow up and supervision during pre-commissioning and commissioning, management of systems handover process and integration with Plant operations teams.
• Proven experience in pre-commissioning and commissioning of ICSS, PSD, ESD and F&G systems.
• A broad knowledge of all aspects of the E&P business, experience in a multi-project E&P company environment with a thorough understanding of the technical and commercial issues and risks associated with the project.
• Fully conversant with the OPERCOM specification & ICAPS database
