Banker, Universal Standard Bank

Job Description
To perform any Universal Banking functions as required as part of a learnership programme, which could include inbound and outbound sales and service functionality.
• Adhere to all risk and compliance requirements when executing on client demand e.g. manage the risks associated with new accounts, mandates and specimen signatures (physical branch only e.g., use of online fingerprint verification, scanning at source, eSign, etc.).
• Adhere to the purpose and team principles (i.e. holding each other accountable).
• Build relationships with other team members.
• Learn and develop an understanding of the financial and regulatory framework.
• Perform any Universal Banker tasks under supervision and at the discretion of the team leader.

Qualifications
• First Degree in Business Studies or related field from a reputable university
• At least two years branch banking experience with good understanding of bank processes, policies and products
• Sales experience with a proven track record of performance
• Exposure to customer service required
