About US:
Yalelo (U) Limited is a tilapia fish farm that was established in Uganda in 2019. The farm is located in Butembe, Buikwe district on the shores of Lake Victoria. Yalelo Uganda is a subsidiary of First Wave Group B.V; a Dutch company with a portfolio of aquaculture related assets in Africa. First Wave Group owns and operates Yalelo Zambia, a pioneer of Aquaculture founded in 2011 that has grown quickly to become the leading fish farm in Zambia and among the largest aquaculture farms in Africa.
Job Summary: The Sales Executive is responsible for creating, implementing sales strategy, identify new markets, conducting market research to identify new business opportunities.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Creating and implementing sales strategy and identifying new markets.
- Conducting market research to identify new business development opportunities.
- Creating and maintaining client database and mail lists.
- Identifying sales opportunities in key outlets.
- Generating cycle activity reports (daily, weekly & monthly).
- Executing any other duties as may be assigned by the line Supervisor.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicant must hold a Diploma or Bachelors’ degree in Business Administration or related discipline.
- A minimum of 1-2 years of experience working in FMCG Sales.
- Strong sales drive, resilience, go-getter.
- Strong Customer management abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Computer literacy and competence in MS office.
- Must be organized, accurate, thorough, and able to monitor work for quality.
- Must be willing and able to meet tight deadlines and work long hours when required.
- Be able to work in a multicultural environment.
- The work will involve constant movements to different locations within assigned territory.
