Job Summary: Would you like to engage schools to offer digital learning and develop future innovators? If you are interested in education and would like to use your sales and marketing skills for social impact, then this role could be yours. To help scale our business and take us to the next level, we are looking for a dynamic individual with demonstrable ability to foster relations and close sales. You will be responsible for making sales calls via phone, online or in person to grow our customer base.
Key Duties and Responsibilities: Reporting to the Customer Acquisition Manager, you will be part of a collaborative team at the fore front of our customer growth drive. Among others, your key responsibilities include:
- Making outbound calls on leads provided by the company and following a diligent process including site visits to convert leads to customers.
- Asking questions to understand customer requirements and articulating our customer value proposition to efficiently close sales and meet your sales
- Going the “extra mile” to foster client relationships and facilitate overall growth and future sales from school accounts designated to
- Analyzing the customer, handling objections and managing different situations during the sales
- Analyzing and sharing active feedback about customer behavior, market demands and competition with the Customer Acquisition Manager and the marketing
- Generating sales pipeline or prospective customers
- These duties may be adjusted as needed to suit the changing business environment.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- A degree in business, marketing or related subjects
- Two years’ experience working in sales or similar role within a credible organisation
- A passion for technology and its creative
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team
- Experience in selling technology products and exposure to the education sector is desired
- A good command (written and verbal) of English language and ability to communicate with customers from different.
- You are a proactive self-starter and are passionate about the work you do.
- You have a minimum of two years’ experience in a sales or similar role and are keen to join a growing organization with opportunity for upward mobility and a chance to impact lives.
- You have a real competency when it comes to persuasion and are keen to show how you can use your abilities to get schools on board and contribute to company revenues. That aside, you are keen to take your career to the next step and can deliver results.
- You are tech savvy and passionate about education.
- You can work with minimal supervision and attention to detail when it comes to task follow up and reporting.
