Job Description:
The Fleet Manager will oversee the management, maintenance, and operation of the company’s fleet of vehicles. This role includes ensuring optimal fleet performance, implementing GPS tracking, and supporting all branches and subsidiaries in and out of Uganda.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain the company’s fleet of vehicles.
- Implement and monitor GPS tracking systems.
- Ensure vehicles are serviced regularly and comply with safety standards.
- Manage fuel consumption and maintenance budgets.
- Train and supervise drivers to ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Develop and enforce fleet management policies and procedures.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure efficient fleet utilization.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Automotive & Mechanical Engineering or Bachelor’s of Science in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum of 5 years working experience in fleet management.
- Hands-on experience in GPS tracking and Microsoft Office Suite.
