Mildmay Uganda is an indigenous Christian NGO that offers General and HIV/AIDS medical services also providing technical support for Ministry of Health Systems to scale up comprehensive HIV/AIDS Services.
Job Summary: The RMNCH Officer will take responsibility for implementing RMNCH Strategies through provision of routine Technical Assistance to supported facilities to enhance the integration of RMNCH services into HIV service delivery
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicant should preferably hold a Diploma in Nursing and Midwifery, and must be registered with the Nurses and Midwives Council, with a valid practicing license. A Bachelors degree in Nursing and Midwifery/Health related field is an added advantage.
- A minimum of three years of experience as a Nurse/Midwife in the District Health System, with 2 years’ experience in providing eMTCT, family planning, nutrition and other RMNCH services.
- The successful candidate shall also have experience in implementation of Health Systems Strengthening interventions
- Broad knowledge of the current WHO and National RMNCH, eMTCT framework and guidelines, plus experience in coaching and mentoring.
