Project Manager Pinnacle Security Ltd (PSL)

Background
Pinnacle Security Ltd (PSL) is 100% Ugandan owned company that is involved in the provision of bespoke security, risk management, firefighting and emergency response solutions in the East African region.

Pinnacle Security Ltd has been contracted by TotalEnergies E&P Uganda to provide Emergency and Fire-Fighting Services for the Tilenga Development Project operated by Total Energies E&P Uganda. The project is located in Buliisa and Nwoya districts.

PSL therefore hereby invites suitable Ugandans to fill the following positions on the Emergency Response and Fire Fighting Services on the Tilenga Project.

Project manager (1 vacancy)

Qualifications and Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum engineering or any related course
• Minimum of 10 years’ working experience in Oil and Gas or a related field
Computer literate, able to develop dashboards and management tools on excel: action plan, roaster planning, contract KPI follow up.
• Qualification in Health, Safety and
• Environment is an added advantage
• Certificates or memberships in Oil and Gas or related field is an added advantage
• Certification in project management is an added advantage
• Knowledge of fire truck and its operation is an added advantage
• Proficiency in English is a requirement, French an added advantage

Main Duties and Responsibilities
• Overall management of the project and team members
• In charge of project mobilization, organization and orientation
• Responsible for giving instant views of the project to directors
• In charge of monitoring national content commitments and reporting
• Review project requirements, cost and create a project plan and schedule for the team to follow as they complete the project.
• Ensure the project is a good match for the teams and ensure all qualifications are sufficiently met.
• Act as the focal point for the communication with client in all techno-commercial matters
• Ensure the team has all the supplies and manpower needed to complete the project to specification.
• Frequently check in on project progress and report to client and superiors.
• Monitoring all work executed, at all stages, to ensure that an accurate and professional service is offered
• Ensure the quality and timeliness of service delivery to clients

• Ensure that the technical teams are adequately resourced
• Ensure that contractual deliverables are produced and issued on time and in compliance with the clients’ requirements
• Ensure adherence to the procedures described in the project management manual
• Create a positive and proactive approach that drives the whole of the team
• Administration of all contracts with the Contracts team
• Conduct team meetings and direct actions
• Attend meetings with clients, team members and other concerned parties
• Overall responsibility for coordinating all technical, operational, management and administrative aspects involved in carrying out the services under the project.
• Build, coordinate and maintain good relationships with all subcontractors, beneficiaries and stakeholders involved in the project implementation.
• Liaising, Coordinating, and monitoring the work of the various project teams of professional and support staff to ensure smooth implementation of the project.
• Responsible for team mobilization, plants, Equipment and tools.
• Support site team in all related contract activities such as procurement of equipment, logistic, maintenance and training.
• Conduct management site visit at least once a month.
• Deliver reports on time:
a. Summary of Incidents report (monthly).
b. Training report (quarterly)
c. Training report (quarterly)
d. Log of waste disposal & management activity (monthly)
e. PPE inspections (monthly) f. Maintenance log (monthly) g. Log of response time (airfield) h. Log of management visits done (quarterly)
• Following up on tasks assigned and management of delivery timelines.
• Coordinate development and submission of high-quality reports
• Coordinate meetings with Company and give response to Company’s queries and concerns.
• Co-chairperson on behalf of the Contractor’s Team during Progress and other relevant project meetings.
• Compiling all the required reports and documents, training programs and knowledge transfer.
• Performing all necessary tasks/ activities to ensure the proper accomplishment of the required duties. Freelance consultant maybe required to be physically present at the Firm’s offices as need arises. The actual time distribution will be dependent on project needs and will be agreed upon with the consultant in advance.
