Assistant Project Administrative Officer National Environment Management Authority (NEMA)

Job purpose: To manage and distribute information among co-workers and other administrative work

Responsibility:
Under the direct supervision of the Project Manager, the Assistant Administrative Officer will be responsible for managing and distributing information among co-workers, answering phones, and doing other administrative work.

Tasks
• Handling administrative requests and queries from senior managers;
• Organizing and scheduling appointments;
• Supporting the Project Manager in planning meetings and taking detailed minutes as well as making travel arrangements;
• Preparing reports and maintaining appropriate filing systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Public Administration and Management, Business Administration

Experience and skills

• Fluency in English (written and spoken) is a must;
• Being able to work for long hours and having good interpersonal skills, honesty and transparency as well as being active in service.

Location:
Mbale Project Office
Duration: Full‐time (4 years ‐ full project life).
