Senior Security Officer Bank Of Africa

Position function
Provide operational support and security administration across the whole Bank in line with the security mission of the Bank.

Key responsibilities
• Support the Security Manager to implement a structured approach to the governance and implementation of physical security across the bank network, and undertake relevant work plans and operational objectives;
• Directly supervise the implementation of appropriate measures to protect employees, business operations, bank facilities, and all critical infrastructure against any security threats;
• Monitor the implementation and use of security systems to meet the security objectives of the Bank;
Support the security manager in the monitoring service delivery of third-party security agencies and ensure their performance according to set standards;
• Ensure and monitor periodic testing’s and evaluation of the physical security systems at all corporate facilities;
• Directly administer investigations and follow up of cases with law enforcement organs and other stakeholders where necessary;
Coordinate the Bank and Security agencies to respond to theft, robberies or any potential breach of peace across the bank network;
• Assist in security sensitization and build awareness to advance a security culture;
• Provide regular security reports to the Security Manager and any other reports required by management from time-to-time;
• Effective management of the Bank Security Reception desk.
• CCTV Monitoring & report submission to the Security Manager.
• Any other duties assigned by management from time-to-time.

Skills, knowledge and experience
• Bachelor’s degree in a banking or business related field;
• 4 years’ experience in banking or security or other risk related field;
• Any relevant security training with relevant professional or state bodies;
• Computer skills.
• Solid grasp of the Bank’s business model, its strategy and all of its products and services
