Origin Products SMC Ltd, brand name (Enimiro Uganda) is a private limited company having offices located in Kampala, Kangulumira, Rubirizi, Sironko & Kapchorwa Districts specialized in agricultural organic production of coffee, pineapple, bananas and vanilla. We aim at doing business while positively influencing the lives and livelihoods of farmers around our various projects with modern farming techniques as well as promoting organic farming.
Job Summary: If you have a green thumb, love working with farmers and are well-versed in sustainable agricultural practices, Enimiro Uganda is looking for you.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicant must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture or related
- Two years of experience in Extension work
- Extensive knowledge and skills in Farmer engagement, community development, and leadership
- Knowledge and understanding of the Ugandan Vanilla sector and vanilla farmer needs
- Great interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience in organic farming principles
- Computer literacy in MS programs
- Demonstrated knowledge in organic and fair-trade certification requirements
- Conducting extension staff trainings on best agronomy practices
- Coordinating with other extension staff in the implementation of the Internal Control System (ICS) manual.
Period: 6 months
Area of Affectation: As per job requirements
