Job Summary: With a commitment to providing exceptional experiences, we are seeking a dynamic and passionate Resort Manager to join our team.
We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Resort Manager to lead the daily operations of our Tabebuia Spa and Safari Resort. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of resort management, ensuring the highest standards of guest satisfaction, and creating a memorable experience for our visitors.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Operational Leadership
- Efficiently manage day-to-day operations, including guest services, housekeeping, dining, and recreational activities.
- Implement and maintain operational policies and procedures to uphold the resort’s standards of excellence.
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure seamless coordination and delivery of exceptional guest experiences.
Customer Service Excellence
- Foster a guest-centric culture, ensuring that the resort consistently exceeds customer expectations.
- Respond promptly to guest feedback and address concerns to maintain a positive and inviting atmosphere.
Team Management
- Recruit, train, and lead a dedicated team of hospitality professionals.
- Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, creativity, and individual growth.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to enhance team efficiency.
Financial Management
- Monitor and manage budgetary goals, ensuring cost-effectiveness without compromising quality.
- Implement revenue-generating strategies and explore new business opportunities to maximize profitability.
Marketing and Promotions
- Work closely with the marketing team to develop and execute promotional campaigns to attract new guests.
- Actively engage with local and international markets to increase the resort’s visibility and reach.
Maintenance and Facilities Management
- Oversee the maintenance of the resort’s facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for guests.
- Implement preventive maintenance programs and coordinate repairs as necessary.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience in resort or hotel management.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- In-depth knowledge of the hospitality industry.
- Familiarity with wildlife and safari tourism is a plus.
