Job Description: Total Energies Uganda is seeking a Field Operations Graduate Trainee to provide support in coordinating well control automation engineering workshops, well startup sequence preparation, and development of digital tools for well operations road map. This position offers an opportunity for recent graduates to gain valuable experience in the petroleum industry.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Coordinate well control automation engineering workshops in collaboration with HQ well performance and Field Operations discipline experts.
- Coordinate preparation of well startup sequence & strategy.
- Develop sequence of individual wells start-up for the operations phase.
- Assist in preparation of Well Operating philosophy and an SOR of future CWE (Collaborative Working Environment).
- Develop digital tools for well operations road map with budget and planning figures in collaboration with subject matter experts.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in production and/or Petroleum Geoscience.
- Maximum 2 years post-graduation experience in the petroleum industry.
