Job Description: Watoto Christian International School is seeking a Monitor to support Christian education and the development of godly transformational leaders. As a Monitor, you will facilitate teaching, learning, skills, and moral development while ensuring the smooth operation of the learning center.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Complete attendance records and issue corrective action notices and homework assignment slips.
- Prepare and pull tests, file old ‘conferenced’ PACEs and Tests, and prepare congratulation slips for successfully passed PACE Tests.
- Keep scoring station and other areas of the learning center clutter-free.
- Ensure the learning center is in order and remind supervisors of scheduled activities.
- Coordinate non-academic questions, supervise breaks and lunch, and check homework assignment slips.
- Monitor scoring station, issue de/merits, supervise detention time, and ensure students stay focused on their work.
- Demonstrate good stewardship of resources and promote the general progress and well-being of learners.
- Create a conducive learning space that respects the needs of learners and teachers.
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:
- Diploma in Primary Education; certificate in Primary Education/ECD or related field is acceptable.
- At least 3 years’ experience in teaching, preferably in ACE syllabus.
- Computer literacy.
- Ability to work well in a team, self-motivated, and results-oriented.
- Excellent oral, interpersonal, and written communication skills.
