Job Summary: The Manager, IT Projects will provide overall strategic leadership in the planning, implementation and integration of cross-functional IT projects as well as ensuring technical oversight & delivery of the different IT projects components within approved budgets and in line with Equity Bank’s business requirements.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicant must hold a Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related qualification.
- Professional qualifications such CAPM and/or PMP is required.
- Minimum of 8 years’ experience in IT Service Delivery, 3 of which must be in Project Cycle Management for Financial Services or an ICT solution Provider.
- Experience in Software development with project-based focus and experience working with IT teams
- Strong follow-up and relationship management skills; ability to organize applicable project timelines and follow up with internal & external stakeholder requirements as needed.
- Ability to develop budgets and formulate new cost-effective strategies and technical approaches on IT project management.
