Job title: Manager, IT Projects

Reports to: Head, IT
Job Purpose
To provide overall strategic leadership in the planning, implementation and integration of cross-functional IT projects as well as ensuring technical oversight & delivery of the different IT projects components within approved budgets and in line with Equity Bank’s business requirements.
Desired knowledge, Skills & Abilities
• Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related qualification.
• Professional qualifications such CAPM and/or PMP is required.
• Minimum of 8 years’ experience in IT Service Delivery, 3 of which must be in Project Cycle Management for Financial Services or an ICT solution Provider.
• Experience in Software development with project-based focus and experience working with IT teams
• Strong follow-up and relationship management skills; ability to organize applicable project timelines and follow up with internal & external stakeholder requirements as needed.
• Ability to develop budgets and formulate new cost-effective strategies and technical approaches on IT project management.
