About the Position
Reporting to the Kuja Kuja East Africa Lead, the Kuja Kuja Insight Associate will oversee the Kuja Kuja activities in Nakivale Refugee settlement. These range from Feedback collection on Alight related sectors under Protection, reporting and sharing back with the community members, managing partnership relations with Alight teams in Nakivale, Juru and Rubondo, all while and managing the expenses.

Key Duties & Responsibilities
Core responsibilities (80% of time)
• Prepare monthly expense projection and track monthly actual expenses for your location.
• Update Daily Actuals and keep track of your daily performance.
• Set personal goals and team goals of the week that are in line with Kuja Kuja Objectives and Key Results (OKRs).
• Work in liaison with the Kuja Kuja support to come up with effective working schedules and ensure full geographic coverage during feedback collection.
• Conduct daily data reviews that are in line with Kuja Kuja Data Quality Control Tool.
• Ensure that bridge building activities as shall be defined and shared with youtube your line manager.
• Filling Payment Request forms, managing inventory, and paying suppliers as per the schedule.
• Spend time with your team to ensure they are healthy and happy and share feedback with them where needed.
• Any other work-related activities shall be communicated to you by your line manager.

Additional Responsibilities (20% of time)
• Sign up for an online course, link up with a mentor to support growth in your area of interest.
• Have weekly check-ins with your supervisor and seek support where needed, for growth.
• Attend the Monthly performance review sessions.

REQUIREMENTS
• A bachelor’s degree in social sciences, Arts and Development studies from a recognized Institution.
• At least two years’ experience in a similar or relevant role.
• Experience of working with Non‐Governmental organizations.
• Good communication skills and ability to conduct training and awareness.
• Computer skills.
• Good organizational and people management skills.
• Strong knowledge of the local population and language.
• Fluency in Swahili and ability to ride a Motorcycle with a Valid License (Class A) is an added advantage.
