Business Personnel Shell Brand

Vivo Energy Uganda is a leading oil marketing company that distributes and markets Shell branded fuels and lubricants in Uganda. The company also operates the largest and most strategically located network of Shell service stations across the country.
The company seeks interested businesspersons with a proven track record in business management and delivering set targets, to operate its new service stations: Shell Kakiri and Shell Sonde Annex, located along Hoima Road in Kakiri and along Namugongo-Sonde Road opposite Sisters Gardens respectively

The Person and the Role:
You must have:
1. At least 5 years of business experience in a senior management role, as well as strong decision-making abilities and excellent writte and spoken communication skills.
2. Business and people management abilities, as well as the ability to spot and maximize on opportunities for business. Proven ability to recruit, train, and instil a culture of continuous learning among employees.
3. Prior experience in marketing and distribution of Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCGs) as an added advantage, passionate about customer service and the ability to provide a superior customer experience.
4. Ability to always operate within applicable business rules and regulations in order to safeguard and promote the Shell brand and its values.
5. Commitment to promote our strong culture of maintaining the highest standards of Health, Safety, Security, Environment, and Quality (HSSEQ).
6. The required working capital of between 600 to 800 million Uganda shillings to invest in the management and operations of the desired service station.
7. Residence within daily commuting distance of the preferred Shell service station and be willing and able to devote full business time to the service station on a daily basis.
